about.
Mzyme is a Web3 product that bridges the virtual and real worlds. It allows users to visit specific locations to collect merchant airdrops and complete missions created by merchants to unlock exclusive rewards and special offers.
My Role: Product Designer
Conducted user interview and reorganized the app structure, created wireframes, and developed revised UI designs based on the insights gathered. I then refined and polished the final presentation for a clear and visually compelling delivery. Collaborated with a researcher and a designer to produce a user research report and UI redesign suggestions for both user and merchant platforms.

Key Insights
Male college students are primarily motivated to join marketing campaigns because of attractive rewards, immediacy, and influencers' recommendations.
Users are often reluctant to expend effort for rewards, making gamification essential to increase motivation and engagement.
The Mzyme NFT needs to deliver both collectible appeal and meaningful utility.
A merchant’s inherent attractiveness and the type of promotions they offer are key factors influencing user participation.
The homepage must provide sufficient information to guide users, prioritizing tasks that help them achieve their first goals quickly.
Users prefer a clean, simple visual design with clear and straightforward interactions.
User Persona
Core Problem
The homepage is cluttered with too many functions and relies only on icons, which doesn’t give users enough guidance.
Explanations for new features and different types of cryptocurrencies in the Wallet section are unclear, making it hard for users to understand them.
There’s no information about airdrop merchants, so users can’t tell whether an airdrop is valuable or worth claiming.
Although the product uses NFTs to attract younger users, the overall interface design isn’t visually appealing to them.
